NBR has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for corporate taxpayers by one month, allowing eligible entities more time to submit returns under the Income Tax Act, 2023.

Bangladesh’s National Board of Revenue (NBR) has granted a one-month extension for the filing of income tax returns for corporate taxpayers.

According to an order issued on 13 April 2026, taxpayers other than individuals and Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs) will now be allowed to submit returns for the 2025–2026 tax year up to 15 May 2026.

The extension covers all entities whose income year ended on 30 June 2025, in line with the relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act, 2023.

Earlier, NBR extended deadlines for 2025‑26 corporate income tax and February 2026 VAT returns, giving companies extra time to submit due to system delays.
