Greece’s tax authority has launched the myAADE platform for filing 2025 income tax returns, setting deadlines through July 2026 and confirming instalment payment options alongside new system features and tax relief measures.
Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has opened the myAADE online portal for the submission of individual and corporate income tax returns for the 2025 fiscal year, with filing windows beginning in mid-March 2026.
For corporate taxpayers, the filing process and required documentation are governed by decision A.1048/2026 issued by George Pitsilis. Businesses with a tax year ending on 31 December 2025 must submit returns between 13 March and 15 July 2026. Any tax due is payable in eight equal monthly instalments, starting from 31 July 2026, with the remaining payments due on the last working day of each subsequent month.
For legal persons and entities with a different financial year-end, returns must be filed by the last working day of the sixth month following the close of the tax year. Payments are likewise made in eight instalments, with the first due by the end of the month following the filing deadline.
Individual taxpayers may submit their returns from 16 March to 15 July 2026, while those participating in partnerships or entities maintaining single-entry books have an extended deadline until 31 July 2026. The general filing deadline for individuals remains 15 July 2026.
The updated system also incorporates recent legislative changes, including exemptions for long-term rental properties, reduced imputed living expenses for residences and vehicles, and a new reporting field for students’ tax identification numbers linked to rent subsidies. Additional features include QR code verification of submitted forms and tools for tracking refunds and tax offsets.
