The Ministry of Finance and AADE grant taxpayers extra time to submit 2024 second-category ship tax declarations, ensuring compliance ahead of upcoming rate changes.
Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), in a press release on 16 December 2025, announced that the deadline for submitting second-category ship tax declarations under Law 27/1975 for the 2024 tax year has been extended to 25 February 2026.
The extension, announced jointly by Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance George Kotsiras and AADE Commissioner George Pitsilis, provides taxpayers with sufficient time to complete their filings accurately, ahead of planned adjustments to tax rates.
Declarations can be submitted through the myAADE portal (myaade.gov.gr).
The first and second instalments will be considered on time if made by 27 February 2026.
