Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) signed an executive order on 20 March 2025 announcing tax filing and payment relief for individuals and businesses impacted by the severe thunderstorms and tornadoes that swept through the state on 14 March 2025.
The executive order extends the tax deadline for residents and businesses in Baxter, Chicot, Clark, Fulton, Greene, Hempstead, Hot Spring, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Nevada, Phillips, Randolph, Sharp, Stone, White, and Woodruff counties.
Individuals and entities in Baxter, Chicot, Clark, Fulton, Greene, Hempstead, Hot Spring, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Nevada, Phillips, Randolph, Sharp, Stone, White, and Woodruff counties will have until July 31, 2025, to file income tax and pass-through entity returns and pay income and pass-through entity taxes that were originally due between 14 March 2025 and 31 July 2025.
This relief includes return and extension payments due between 14 March 2025 and 31 July 2025.
