Ukraine’s Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitalii Koval, held a meeting with Ahmed Kuchuk, Egypt’s Minister of Finance.
This announcement was made by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on 3 February 2025.
The discussion was attended by Taras Kachka, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative, and Serhii Tkachuk, Head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
The talks focused on simplifying financial procedures and removing trade barriers between the two countries to facilitate smoother economic cooperation.
Minister Koval emphasized that Ukraine’s agricultural production and exports are primarily driven by the private sector. He highlighted the critical need for stable international trade guarantees, reliable financial settlements, and improved access to financial resources.
“Streamlining financial procedures and eliminating administrative barriers is a key step toward strengthening Ukrainian-Egyptian trade relations. We continue working on expanding opportunities for Ukrainian agricultural producers in the Egyptian market,” Koval stated.
