Recently, the Dominican Republic Tax Authorities (DGII) published the 6th version of the transfer pricing information return (DIOR) through its virtual platform. The content of the form has been simplified to guarantee the accuracy and organization of the filling, as well as the consistency and quality of the information promoted.
The changes made in the form are as follows:
In the Contribute tab the following fields were modified:
- The name of the Contributing to Contributing Information screen was changed.
- The fields: RNC, Company Name and Declaration Type will be completed automatically.
- The question was added: Does it have an Advance Price Agreement (APA)?
The following fields were added:
- Margin or Transfer Price and this field must be completed with the margin or transfer price obtained by the analyzed party.
- APA-In this field you must select Yes or No in case of registering an operation under an agreement of anticipated prices.
For the periods 2017 onwards, the declaration will be sent online through the DIOR option in the Affidavit of the Virtual Office. Taxpayers with late filings or amendments to DIORs before the fiscal year 2017 should use the previous version (version 5.1).
Therefore, all taxpayers within the scope of the transfer pricing regulations must file the DIOR on an annual basis within the first 180 days after the end of the fiscal year. To see the brochure (2017) of transfer pricing click here.
