The UK government has recently been updating the arrangements for the exchange of tax information with some of its territories. An Exchange of Letters with the Isle of Man updated the 1955 agreement between the UK and the Isle of Man. An Exchange of Letters also amending the 2009 Tax Information Exchange Agreements (TIEAs) with Jersey and Guernsey was signed in London on 22 October 2013.

All the UK’s Crown Dependencies have now signed or updated tax information exchange agreements with the UK government. The amendments to the TIEAs will allow for complete regular and spontaneous exchange of information.
