The Government is considering proposals which would permit the Turkish Revenue Administration to collect both indirect and direct taxes on the online sales and revenue-generating online activities made by nonresident businesses. The Finance Ministry announced the Government’s intention to impose corporate income tax (CIT) and VAT on electronic services of nonresident companies on 20th February 2015.
