The Silk Road Tax Forum (SRTF), initiated as the Eurasia Tax Forum, is an annual event organized since 2003. It serves as a unique collaborative platform, bringing together public sector officials, taxpayers, and independent tax experts. The forum is dedicated to exchanging peer experiences, discussing the latest developments in tax policy and administration, and addressing current challenges in public finance, domestic revenue mobilization, and investment facilitation.

SRTF has facilitated significant dialogues and resolutions on regional tax issues. It has contributed to shaping tax policies that are more aligned with global standards, thereby improving investment climates and encouraging economic cooperation among participating countries. The forum’s consistent focus on practical solutions to tax administration challenges has led to measurable improvements in tax efficiency and compliance in many of the participating countries.
