The second round of negotiations regarding the conclusion of a double taxation avoidance agreement between Turkey and Tanzania was held in Dar es Salaam on 17 – 20 February 2025.
This announcement was made by Turkey’s Revenue Administration on 27 February 2025.
The negotiations were conducted under the chairmanship of Ahmet YILDIRIM, Head of Department at the Revenue Administration, on behalf of Turkey. Juma A. MKABAKULI, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation on Tax Matters at the Ministry of Finance on behalf of Tanzania, took place in a positive atmosphere. An agreement was reached on all tax-related matters.
Once the agreement is finalised and enters into force, a stable investment environment in terms of taxation will be ensured for entrepreneurs in both countries.
