The Kaohsiung National Taxation Bureau of the Ministry of Finance said taxpayers will be able to review income and deduction data for the 114 tax year comprehensive income tax ahead of the filing period, with online and mobile filing remaining available during the Labor Day holiday and weekend.

Taiwan’s Kaohsiung National Taxation Bureau of the Ministry of Finance has announced, on 9 April 2026, that the review of income and deduction data for the 114 tax year comprehensive income tax will begin on  28 April 115 at 8:00 AM. Individual taxpayers are advised to take note, as the first day of the filing period coincides with Labor Day and the weekend.

According to the Bureau, income and deduction data for the 114 tax year individual comprehensive income tax return will be available for review starting 28 April. Taxpayers may access the information online, via mobile tax filing, or by visiting their local National Taxation Bureau office.

The Bureau stated that early access to the data will allow taxpayers sufficient time to verify deductible expenses such as insurance premiums, medical expenses, and children’s education tuition, confirm dependent information, and check for any income not yet included in the system in preparation for filing.

The filing period for the 114 tax year comprehensive income tax return is set from 1 May to 1 June, 2026 From 1 May to 3 May, there will be a three-day holiday for Labor Day and the weekend. Although local tax offices will be closed during this period, online filing will remain available starting 1 May. For taxpayers requiring in-person income data review or assistance with online or mobile filing,  4 May (Monday) will be the first working day of the filing period.

The Bureau further noted that the filing deadline, originally 31 May 2026, falls on a Sunday and has therefore been extended to 1 June (Monday). Taxpayers are encouraged to use the Labor Day holiday to log in to the Ministry of Finance e-Filing and Tax Payment Service Website using a Citizen Digital Certificate, National Health Insurance Card with password, electronic certificate, mobile phone authentication, mobile Citizen Digital Certificate, or household registration number with inquiry code, to download and verify income data and complete filing submissions.
