On 17 October 2017, the Spanish Congress of Deputies approved the Double Taxation Agreement (DTA) with Finland for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income. Once in force and effective, the new treaty will replace the existing DTA of 1967.
