The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) released updated lists of reportable and participating jurisdictions under the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) on 3 February 2005.
The Common Reporting Standard (CRS) is an internationally agreed standard for the automatic exchange of financial account information between jurisdictions for tax purposes, to better combat tax evasion and ensure tax compliance. Singapore has committed to implement the CRS and has been exchanging financial account information with partner jurisdictions since September 2018.
List of Reportable Jurisdictions
The list of reportable jurisdictions for the 2024 CRS information reporting, as updated on 3 February 2025, includes new additions for the reporting year 2024. Armenia (AM), Belize (BZ), Moldova (MD), Ukraine (UA) have been added to the list. Singapore Financial Institutions (SGFIs) are required to submit their reports by 31 May 2025.
