Russia’s Federal Tax Service (FTS) has updated its lists of jurisdictions for tax information exchange, effective 31 December 2024.
The new changes were announced through two decrees, No. IED-7-17/914 and IED-7-17/916, published on 20 December 2024.
The list has been updated to include the following jurisdictions who do not exchange tax Information:
- Australia,
- Liechtenstein,
- Monaco,
- New Zealand,
- Japan, and
- 25 EU Member States.
The list has been updated with the addition of the following new jurisdictions for automatic exchange of financial information:
- Armenia,
- Cameroon,
- Rwanda,
- Jamaica,
- Niue.
Earlier, the Russian Federal Tax Service (FTS) published an updated list of jurisdictions that do not exchange tax information with Russia (Decree No. ЕD-7-17/914) on 10 January 2024.
