Qatar issued Decree No.1 of 2025, approving the ratification of its income tax treaty with Saudi Arabia on 13 February 2025.
Earlier, Qatar and Saudi Arabia signed an income tax treaty on Thursday, 30 May 2024.
The treaty, a first of its kind between the two Gulf monarchies, aims to eliminate double taxation and prevent tax evasion, promote commercial cooperation, and expand investment opportunities for individuals and government entities.
