On 12 December 2016, the amending protocol of double tax agreement (DTA) between China and Macau was entered into force and that was signed on 19 July 2016 for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income. This protocol was applied from 12 December 2016.
