Difenzoquat; Denial of Objections:
In its objections, In this Denial of Objections Order, EPA is denying the objections submitted by Amvac Chemical Corporation (AMVAC). AMVAC requested that EPA delay the effective date for revoking the difenzoquat tolerances for 41/2years to allow for importation of food commodities that will be treated with the pesticide in Canada over the next 2 years. EPA denies AMVAC’s objections because AMVAC has not filed a proper objection to the Revocation Order.		 Details

Significant New Use Rule on Certain Chemical Substances:
Under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), EPA is finalizing the significant new use rule (SNUR) for three chemical substances. These are: Alkenyl Ether of Alkanetriol Polymer, Aromatic Amino Ether and Certain Chemical Substances. This action requires persons who intend to manufacture (including import) or process any of these three chemical substances for an activity that is designated as a significant new use by this final rule to notify EPA at least 90 days before commencing that activity. List of Nonconforming Vehicles Decided To Be Eligible for Importation:

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury is soliciting comments on the effectiveness of OFAC’s licensing procedures for the exportation of agricultural commodities, medicine, and medical devices to Sudan and Iran. According to the section 906(c) of the Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act of 2000, OFAC is required to submit a biennial report to the Congress on the operation of licensing procedures for such exports.
