EPA Stops Brooklyn Company from Selling Illegal Pesticides: The company, which wholesales chemicals and related products, sold misbranded insect traps and imported the traps into the U.S. without properly notifying the EPA. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has reached an agreement with Atlantic Paste and Glue Co., Inc., of Brooklyn, New York, for violations of federal regulations governing pesticides. This type of company will pay a $36,774 penalty and come into compliance with federal pesticide law. |
