On 8 September 2022, a draft bill was submitted to the Peruvian Congress for the ratification of the multilateral convention to implement tax treaty related measures to prevent base erosion and profit shifting (MLI). Peru signed the convention on 27 June 2018, and must now deposit its ratification instrument in order to put the MLI into force for its covered agreements (tax agreements).
