On 26 November 2019, Oman signed the multilateral competent authority agreement (MCAA) for the automatic exchange of financial account information. The multilateral competent authority agreement (MCAA) provides for the exchange of information under the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) common reporting standard. Oman plans to begin the first exchanges under CRS by September 2020.
