The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has announced that the Czech Republic, Germany, and Hungary have signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on the Automatic Exchange of Information on Income Earned Through Digital Platforms (DPI-MCAA).

The agreement ensures the automatic exchange of information under the OECD Model Rules for Reporting by Digital Platforms, covering transactions and income earned by platform sellers from selling goods or providing services through such platforms.

The international standards developed by the OECD provide for transparency and exchange of information on request (EOIR) and for automatic exchange of financial account information (AEOI).

The Czech Republic signed the agreement on 6 November 2024, and Germany and Hungary signed on 26 November 2024.
