Import duties ranging from 3.86% to 57.90% are imposed on galvanized iron and steel coils or sheets from these countries.
Malaysia’s Ministry of Trade and Industry has announced provisional anti-dumping duties on certain iron and steel imports from China, South Korea, and Vietnam on 4 July 2025.
These duties, ranging from 3.86% to 57.90%, apply to imports of galvanised iron and steel coils or sheets from these countries.
The decision follows a preliminary investigation launched by the ministry on 6 February 2025, which found evidence of dumping.
The duties will take effect on 7 July 2025 and will remain in place for up to 120 days, with a final decision expected by 3 November 2025.
