Luxembourg has ratified the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) between the European Union and Malaysia on 5 June, 2024.
The agreement was signed on 14 December, 2022, at Brussels, and published in the Journal Officiel du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg No. A273 on 2 July, 2024.
A PCA is a legally binding agreement between the EU and third countries to support the democratic and economic development of a country. It is typically effective for ten years, after which they are automatically extended each year provided no objections are raised.
