Luxembourg and Oman have signed an income tax treaty on 17 October 2024.
HE Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Salem al Harthy, Oman’s Ambassador to Luxembourg, signed the agreement on behalf of Oman, and HE Gilles Worth, Luxembourg’s Minister of Finance, signed on behalf of Luxembourg.
Negotiations between the two nations for a previous treaty concluded in 2011 but it was never signed, making this the first income tax treaty between the two countries. The agreement will come into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged.
