Lithuania has published its budget plan for the three-year period from 2025 to 2027 in the official gazette on 19 December 2024. Key changes include an increase in the tax-exempt income threshold for 2025.

Even though the budget for the next three years has been approved, additional tax increases are expected to be implemented to cover increasing state expenses.

Earlier, Lithuania’s Ministry of Finance submitted the draft Budget for 2025 to the parliament on 16 October 2024 which included proposed amendments to the Law on Personal Income Tax.
