On 19 November 2021, Kenya Revenue Authority has opened a consultation on a country-by-country (CbC) reporting regulation. Accordingly, the National Treasury and Planning and Kenya Revenue Authority would like to inform Multinational Enterprises and members of the public that the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning has drafted The Income Tax Act (Country by Country Reporting) Regulations, 2021 for the better of carrying out the provisions of Section 18B of the Income Tax.
In compliance with the Statutory Instruments, Act, The National Treasury and Planning and Kenya Revenue Authority hereby invite interested members of the public and stakeholders to submit their views on the draft Country by Country Reporting Regulations. The submissions should be addressed to the Commissioner General, Kenya Revenue Authority, P.O Box 48240-00100, Nairobi or emailed to stakeholder.engagement@kra.go.ke to be received on or before Friday, 10th December, 2021.
