On 30 January 2015, the President of Kazakhstan ratified the double taxation agreement (DTA) with Qatar for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income. Furthermore Kazakhstanās lower house of Parliament approved the income tax treaty signed with Qatar on December 24, 2014.
