Kazakhstan issued the Government Resolution dated 18 October 2024 for the signing of an amending protocol to the 1996 income and capital tax treaty with Iran.
This protocol marks the first amendment to the original treaty since its entry into force.
Key changes are in line with the BEPS MLI. However the amendments will need to be ratified before it can come into force.
