Ivory Coast’s National Assembly approved the ratification of the income tax treaty with Qatar on 21 May 2025, following earlier approval by the Council of Ministers in 2024.
Ivory Coast’s National Assembly has approved the ratification of the income tax treaty with Qatar on 21 May 2025.
Signed initially on 7 December 2022, this treaty is the first between the two nations. It aims to eliminate double taxation on income taxes and prevent tax evasion and avoidance between the Ivory Coast and Qatar.
The treaty will come into effect after the exchange of ratification instruments.
Earlier, the Ivory Coast Council of Ministers ratified the income tax treaty with Qatar on 22 May 2024.
