Italy’s Revenue Agency released the Annual VAT Return Form for filing in 2024 on the tax year 2023. As of now, the return form and filing instructions are only available in Italian, but the tax authorities will soon release the forms in various languages, including English.
Additionally, a Basic Annual VAT Return Form has been published, which can be utilized by eligible taxpayers. Both versions of the annual return must be electronically submitted between 1 February 2024 and 30 April 2024.
Previously, on 22 December 2023, the Revenue Agency published the draft tax return forms, and instructions for filing in 2024 for personal income tax return, corporate tax return, partnership tax return, regional tax on productive activities (IRAP) return, and the annual VAT return.
