The Tax Authority of Israel has recently announced that it has adopted a trick to improve services and reduce bureaucracy for tax advisers by launching a new service which will allow accountants, lawyers and tax practitioners to apply online for advance tax rulings on behalf of clients. The new service will deduct compliance time and costs for taxpayers and their intermediaries. It will also enable the tax administration to deal with applications for rulings more quickly and efficiently.
The new online service will allow taxpayer delegates to apply for a initial tax decision over the Internet (including any required documents), and track the progress of their application. It is expecting that the new service would speed up the application process and reduce the waiting time for decisions.
