Iceland’s Budget Committee submitted the proposed amendments to the 2025 Budget on 15 November 2024 following its second parliamentary debate.

The parliament approved the proposed amendments, incorporating them into the bill for the final round of discussions. The bill was passed into law by the parliament on 19 November 2024.

A comprehensive report will be provided after the bill is published on the government website.

Earlier, the Budget Committee discussed the 2025 Budget Bill, on 16 September 2024, after it was approved in the parliament after the first round of discussions.

Parliament sessions are now postponed until the 30 November 2024 elections.
