The German Federal Central Tax Office has published a provisional list of jurisdictions for the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) financial account information exchange for 2025 on 26 March 2025. .
This list covers jurisdictions that will participate in the exchange for the 2024 reporting period. A total of 123 jurisdictions are included, with several new additions: Armenia, Cameroon, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Senegal, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Additionally, there has been a change to the reporting timeline for some countries. Liberia, Moldova, Montenegro, Uganda, and Ukraine will now begin their initial CRS reporting in 2024, instead of 2023 as originally planned.
As part of the CRS requirements, financial institutions in Germany are obligated to report the relevant account information by 31 July 2025.
