El Salvador’s Ministry of Finance has introduced new fields to Form 07 and Form 14, which taxpayers will be required to complete starting 1 February 2025.
The forms have been updated to include the following changes:
- Sales to taxpayers;
- Sales to the final consumer;
- Purchases from taxpayers;
- Purchases from excluded subjects;
- Form 07: Includes Annex 3 (purchases from taxpayers) and Annex 5 (purchases from VAT-exempt entities);
- Form 14: Now features four additional columns to specify the type of operation, classification, sector, and the nature of the cost or expense (taxable, non-taxable, excluded, or from prior periods).
