The Dominican Republic Directorate General of Internal Taxes informs taxpayers and the public that a public forum has been opened for the discussion of the draft “General Standard Regulating the Tax Treatment Applicable to the Beef Cattle Farming Subsector,” which aims to establish withholding agents for Income Tax (ISR) in the beef cattle farming subsector.
This announcement was made by the General Directorate of Internal Revenue (DGII) on 30 January 2025.
The discussion will be open from Wednesday, 4 December 2024, to Tuesday, 11 February 2025, in compliance with the provisions of Article 23 of Law No. 167-21 on Regulatory Improvement and Simplification of Procedures, Article 33 of Decree No. 486-22 establishing the Implementation Regulation of Law No. 167-21, as well as Article 31 of Law No. 107-13 on the rights of individuals in their dealings with the administration and administrative procedures.
