The Czech government has authorised the signing of an income tax treaty with Tanzania on 21 August 2024.
This income tax treaty aims to eliminate double taxation concerning taxes on income or concerning taxes on income and capital in force between the two countries.
This tax treaty is the first between the two nations.
The two countries concluded their negotiations in April 2024.
The treaty must undergo signing and ratification before it goes into effect.
