The Cyprus Tax Department announced, on 12 February 2025, that it has further extended deadlines for submitting the annual company income tax return and the summary information table (SIT) on controlled transactions for the 2022 tax year.
The deadline has been extended to 31 May 2025 from the previously extended deadline of 28 February 2025.
Submissions after this date will incur a EUR 500 penalty for late SIT filing and a EUR 100 penalty for late return filing.
The notice grants an extension for taxpayers who are required to include the SIT with their return.
The Tax Department also issued another notice on 13 February 2024 announcing that no penalties will be imposed for submitting 2022 company tax returns for 2022 regardless of the SIT, which effectively extended the deadline to 31 May 2025.
