In an announcement, the Cyprus tax authority, based on a new decision of the Tax Commissioner, the deadline for payment of the Fee of the Central Body of Equitable Burden Distribution without the imposition of monetary charges and interest has been extended until 31 December 2024.
The central body’s equal burden sharing fee is 0.4% on the transfer of immovable property and shares. This extension applies to transactions between 22 February, 2021 and 18 November, 2022.
