The agreement aims to eliminate double taxation and prevent tax evasion between Croatia and New Zealand. 

Croatia’s Ministry of Finance announced that Croatia and New Zealand have signed a new income tax treaty on 20 November 2025.

The agreement aims to eliminate double taxation and prevent tax evasion between the two countries. The treaty is designed to create a more predictable and business-friendly tax environment, making cross-border operations smoother and supporting stronger trade flows.

The treaty will enter into force after the exchange of ratification instruments.
