The Democratic Republic Congo and France are set to hold their first round of negotiations in Paris in early 2025.

The Democratic Republic of Congo and France have agreed to begin negotiations for their first income tax treaty, according to a French Senate update on 3 April 2025.

The initial round of talks is scheduled to take place in Paris in the first half of 2025.

The treaty will require finalisation, signing, and ratification before it can take effect.
