Burundi and Morocco signed an income tax treaty on 12 May 2025.
The two nations signed agreements to strengthen and diversify ties between the two nations. It includes a tax treaty to prevent double taxation, tax evasion, fraud, and five MoUs covering agriculture, infrastructure, health, education, and tourism.
It will take effect once the ratification instruments are exchanged.
