Officials of Botswana and Estonia have signed an income tax treaty on 25 September 2024.
Earlier, Estonia’s government has approved signing a draft income tax treaty with Botswana on 4 July, 2024.
The tax treaty seeks to eliminate double taxation, and prevent tax evasion.
This treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and will take effect following the exchange of ratification instruments.
