The government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proposed mandatory electronic invoicing and reporting requirements to combat tax fraud, particularly for sales conducted through the internet and digital platforms.
The electronic invoicing and reporting rules are in line with EU Directive 2014/55 on electronic invoicing for public procurement.
The new provisions must be approved by the federal parliament to become effective.
