Azerbaijan’s National Assembly (Milli Mejlis) ratified the pending income tax treaty with Kyrgyzstan on Friday, 28 June 2024.
The income tax agreement is expected to eliminate double taxation on income and prevent tax evasion between the two countries. Furthermore, this deal is anticipated to enhance trade relations and promote cross-border investments by removing financial barriers.
Signed on 24 April, 2024, this treaty is the first between the two nations and will take effect once the ratification instruments are exchanged.
