The tax suspension is now extended to 31 December 2025.

Argentina has issued General Resolution 5736/2025 on 29 July 2025, which extends the suspension of collection lawsuits and enforced collection measures for non-profit entities and healthcare sector taxpayers.

The suspension, which was initially set to end on 31 July 2025 under General Resolution 5628/2024, is now extended to 31 December 2025.

Earlier, on 1 February 2024, Argentina issued General Resolution 5482/2024, suspending collection lawsuits and enforced collection measures for certain taxpayer groups until 31 July 2024. The affected groups include MSMEs (categories 1 and 2), small taxpayers, non-profits, and healthcare sector taxpayers like hospitals and diagnostic services.
