Argentina’s tax authority (ARCA) announced new guidelines for safeguarding foreign trade information on 27 October 2025.

The tax agency also updated existing regulations regarding the disclosure and confidentiality of data related to export and import operations.

Through Provision 219/2025, published in the Official Gazette, ARCA clarified the procedures for disclosing and providing customs information while reinforcing the protection of trade secrets.

The agency specifies which public bodies may request access to confidential information collected during the control of international goods traffic, and through which mechanisms. In this regard, the submission of data to the courts in ongoing investigations has been simplified, and unlike previous regulations, all jurisdictions are now covered.

Finally, the obligation to periodically publish import price lists to combat dumping practices remains in effect.
