On 28 April 2022, the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) published General Resolution 5189/2022 of 28 April 2022, which extends the submission deadline of corporate tax return to between 23 and 26 May 2022, with the exact date depending on the taxpayer ID number (CUIT) and due date of tax payment to between 24 and 27 May 2022 for fiscal years closing in December 2021.
On the other hand, the Resolution extends the original term that began to expire in mid-May to facilitate compliance with obligations. Taxpayers must use the application “Profits legal entities – version 20.0”. Those taxpayers who by mistake have submitted the affidavit with a previous version of the application must re-enter the data with the updated version . The application introduces the new progressive income tax scale for companies approved by law last year.
