Angola and Turkey have concluded the third round of income tax treaty negotiations, which took place from 27 to 28 May 2025.

The negotiations, chaired by the Deputy Director of the Revenue Administration, Mr. Mehmet ARABACI, on behalf of Turkey, and the Director of the Cooperation and Information Exchange Department, Angola Revenue Administration, Ms. Faustina Neto De Faria, on behalf of Angola, were held in a positive atmosphere and agreement was reached on most of the tax issues.

Once finalised, signed, and ratified, the agreement would become the first treaty between Angola and Turkey. Its goal is to eliminate double taxation and prevent tax evasion and avoidance between the two countries.
