ARCA has extended the 2025 income tax return deadline and the first 2026 income tax advance payment deadline for individuals and undivided estates.
Argentina’s tax authority (ARCA) announced, on 25 August 2026, that it has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for individuals and undivided estates until 22 September 2026.
This extension was implemented through General Resolution 5890/2026, published in the Official Gazette. The agency has thus granted taxpayers four additional weeks to complete the procedures for the 2025 tax year.
At the same time, ARCA extended the deadline for the first advance payment of income tax for the 2026 tax year to 24 September, also for individuals and undivided estates. The payment was originally scheduled for 14, 15, and 16 September.
The decision was made following ongoing dialogue between agency authorities and representatives of professional associations in the economic sciences, with the aim of facilitating tax compliance for citizens.
