Belarus has approved the ratification of its income tax treaty with Jordan, aimed at preventing double taxation and promoting economic cooperation, with the agreement set to enter into force following the exchange of ratification instruments. 

The Belarus Council of the Republic (upper house of the National Assembly) has approved the ratification of the income tax treaty with Jordan on 11 May 2026.

Signed on 16 December 2025, this treaty is aimed at preventing double taxation and facilitating economic cooperation between the nations.

It will enter into force after the exchange of ratification instruments.

Earlier, the Belarus House of Representatives (lower house of the National Assembly) approved the income tax treaty with Jordan through Resolution No. 306-P8/III on 17 April 2026.
